About Me
I have been an educator in the Dallas area for over 30 years. Engaging and nurturing the potential of gifted learners has been my passion for the past two decades. As a gifted specialist, I have guided both gifted elementary and secondary students in the Plano Independent School District. While serving in this capacity, I have also worked in tandem with the parents of my elementary students in order to nurture the potential of these children. In addition, I have consulted with numerous school districts both writing complex and challenging curriculum and providing engaging and interactive professional development. I have written curriculum for a publication of the Texas Association for Gifted, as well as presented several times at their annual conferences.
